摘要：
We present an updated all-particle energy spectrum of primary cosmic rays in a wide range from 10(14) to 10(17) eV using 5.5 x 107 events collected from 2000 November through 2004 October by the Tibet-III air-shower array located 4300 m above sea level (an atmospheric depth of 606 g cm(-2)). The size spectrum exhibits a sharp knee at a corresponding primary energy around 4 PeV. This work uses increased statistics and new simulation calculations for the analysis. We discuss our extensive Monte Carlo calculations and the model dependencies involved in the final result, assuming interaction models QGSJET01c and SIBYLL2.1, and heavy dominant (HD) and proton dominant (PD) primary composition models. Pure proton and pure iron primary models are also examined as extreme cases. A detector simulation was also performed to improve our accuracy in determining the size of the air showers and the energy of the primary particle. We confirmed that the all-particle energy spectra obtained under various plausible model parameters are not significantly different from each other, which was the expected result given the characteristics of the experiment at high altitude, where the air showers of the primary energy around the knee reach near-maximum development, with their features dominated by electromagnetic components, leading to a weak dependence on the interaction model or the primary mass. This is the highest statistical and the best systematics-controlled measurement covering the widest energy range around the knee energy region.

摘要：
Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft sets, which can be seen as a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. In this paper, we deal with the algebraic structure of soft sets. The lattice structures of soft sets are constructed. The concept of soft equality is introduced and some related properties are derived. It is proved that soft equality is a congruence relation with respect to some operations and the soft quotient algebra is established. Crown Copyright (C) 2010 Published by Elsevier B.V. 摘要：
Robustness of two coupled networks systems has been studied separately only for dependency coupling [Buldyrev et al., Nature (London) 464, 1025 (2010)] and only for connectivity coupling [Leicht and D'Souza, e-print arXiv:0907.0894]. Here we study, using a percolation approach, a more realistic coupled networks system where both interdependent and interconnected links exist. We find rich and unusual phase-transition phenomena including hybrid transition of mixed first and second order, i.e., discontinuities like in a first-order transition of the giant component followed by a continuous decrease to zero like in a second-order transition. Moreover, we find unusual discontinuous changes from second-order to first-order transition as a function of the dependency coupling between the two networks.

摘要：
Approximations of a concept by a variable precision rough-set model (VPRS) usually vary under a dynamic information system environment. It is thus effective to carry out incremental updating approximations by utilizing previous data structures. This paper focuses on a new incremental method for updating approximations of VPRS while objects in the information system dynamically alter. It discusses properties of information granulation and approximations under the dynamic environment while objects in the universe evolve over time. The variation of an attribute's domain is also considered to perform incremental updating for approximations under VPRS. Finally, an extensive experimental evaluation validates the efficiency of the proposed method for dynamic maintenance of VPRS approximations.

Cyclic codes are a subclass of linear codes and have applications in consumer electronics, data storage systems, and communication systems as they have efficient encoding and decoding algorithms. In this paper, a class of three-weight cyclic codes over F-p whose duals have two zeros is presented, where p is an odd prime. The weight distribution of this class of cyclic codes is settled. Some of the cyclic codes are optimal. The duals of a subclass of the cyclic codes are also studied and proved to be optimal. (C) 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

摘要：
Knowledge in an information system evolves with its dynamical environment. A new concept of interesting knowledge based on both accuracy and coverage is defined in this paper for dynamic information systems. An incremental model and approach as well as its algorithm for inducing interesting knowledge are proposed when the object set varies over time. A case study validates the feasibility of the proposed method.

摘要：
By interleaving one length-N perfect sequence or ideal sequence according to elaborate phases, a new method of construction of zero correlation zone (ZCZ) and low correlation zone (LCZ) sequence sets is presented. The resultant sequence sets are optimal or almost optimal with respect to Tang, Fan, and Matsufuji bound. Furthermore, the new method provides flexible choice for the ZCZ and LCZ lengths.

摘要：
As business information quickly varies with time, the extraction of knowledge from the related dynamically changing database is vital for business decision making. For an incremental learning optimization on knowledge discovery, a new incremental matrix describes the changes of the system. An optimization incremental algorithm induces interesting knowledge when the object set varies over time. Experimental results validate the feasibility of the incremental learning optimization.

Real data show that interdependent networks usually involve intersimilarity. Intersimilarity means that a pair of interdependent nodes have neighbors in both networks that are also interdependent [Parshani et al. Europhys. Lett. 92, 68002 (2010)]. For example, the coupled worldwide port network and the global airport network are intersimilar since many pairs of linked nodes (neighboring cities), by direct flights and direct shipping lines, exist in both networks. Nodes in both networks in the same city are regarded as interdependent. If two neighboring nodes in one network depend on neighboring nodes in the other network, we call these links common links. The fraction of common links in the system is a measure of intersimilarity. Previous simulation results of Parshani et al. suggest that intersimilarity has considerable effects on reducing the cascading failures; however, a theoretical understanding of this effect on the cascading process is currently missing. Here we map the cascading process with intersimilarity to a percolation of networks composed of components of common links and noncommon links. This transforms the percolation of intersimilar system to a regular percolation on a series of subnetworks, which can be solved analytically. We apply our analysis to the case where the network of common links is an Erdos-Renyi (ER) network with the average degree K, and the two networks of noncommon links are also ER networks. We show for a fully coupled pair of ER networks, that for any K >= 0, although the cascade is reduced with increasing K, the phase transition is still discontinuous. Our analysis can be generalized to any kind of interdependent random network systems.

Cyclic codes are a subclass of linear codes and have applications in consumer electronics, data storage systems, and communication systems as they have efficient encoding and decoding algorithms. In this paper, a family of p-ary cyclic codes whose duals have three pairwise nonconjugate zeros is proposed. The weight distribution of this family of cyclic codes is determined. It turns out that the proposed cyclic codes have five nonzero weights.
